Seeking Presenters!
The Washington Wildlife Rehabilitation Association (WWRA) invites wildlife rehabilitation professionals to submit abstracts for presentation at our 2026 Annual Conference. Conference Objectives:
Disseminate information pertinent to the profession of wildlife rehabilitation.
Provide an environment conducive to networking and building communications among Washington wildlife rehabilitators and other individuals or organizations in wildlife-related fields.
Increase awareness of the problems faced by wildlife in an increasingly urban environment and humane solutions to these problems.
Remain current on rehabilitation practices, ethics, and policies.
This is an opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with colleagues who are actively aligning science, ethics, policy, veterinary medicine, and society with advances in wildlife rehabilitation. We welcome abstracts related to the field of wildlife rehabilitation from any disciplinary background. Professionals at all career stages are encouraged to submit one or more abstracts. Acceptance of abstracts will be based on content, available program space, and overall program balance.
The submission deadline is July 31, 2026 at 11:59 pm (PT). Authors will receive notification of the status of their abstract via e-mail no later than August 7, 2026. For questions, email education@wwrawildlife.org.
